I was reading Colin's blog when i came across this phrase which i thought made alot of sense. "I think that sometimes, the people you know best may not be your best friends, while the people you know least may not be strangers. What a lonely crowd. I know so many people, yet I don't know them."

How true it is that very often, the people i spend time with, the people i know, the people who run to me when they have problems, are not my best friends. Its probably one thing i feared when i was writing the entry about SDD. That next year, the people i know best, will be with their best friends. They will be with the hip, the cool, the funnneh. Why should they bother about someone like me right. In fact, the people i consider friends may just consider me an acquaintance - just another someone they've met along the way.

It sounds like another entry seeking an identity, seeking a place to fit in in this society...

This world, is like a sea of strangers. Are friends just small distractions that fade away after each stage ? I sure hope not.
