Fruitfulness

This week, apart from thinking about uprooting the weed, i've also been thinking about one area i oughta work on. While surfing the net, i came across one sermon by Apostle Khong which i thought was really interesting. Haha, somehow God made use of my boredom to speak to me. Its about fruitfulness.
Frankly, this has been an issue i've always struggled with. When you grow spiritually, it should be evident in your fruits. Not just in terms of the the traits of the fruit of the spirit, but also other qualities/characteristics that make you any bit more Christlike. Another indicator of fruitfulness is how you impact the people around you. Well, by any measure, i've kinda been struggling. I guess time and again God has to challenge me to get serious to work on my own life as well as develop my cell group. I guess, at times, i just become so inward looking, forgetting that my role as a cell leader is not just to be an example for spiritual growth, but also to work on the little needs those under me may have.
Its like a twin engine. Both sides hafta grow at the same time, if not, all you will be doing is going about in circles. I needa work on my own spiritual life, at the same time, i needa ensure my members are going close to my pace, if not, i need to help them grow.
As i say all these, somehow theres the fear that i would not be consistent. After all, i've all along shone myself to be quite a "three minute passion" person. I needa change this. =)
God is awesome.
