Yesterday night, 1st dec was VJ's Senior Dinner and Dance, and i, being in the adhoc, had the priviledge of being a bouncer placed at a remote corner when i was supposed to be one of the 2 section i/cs. Well, not that it matters.
But SDD as a whole was quite fun, apart from the waiting and the sms voting system. The sms voting system was quite screwed as a matter of fact, cos Mr yeo needed more time to collate the results, so we had to like, wait and stone and push forward as many activities as possible.
People came into the ballroom, mostly in pairs, some in big groups. The girls were dressed relatively elegantly, the guys dressed to kill. Some overdressing, some short skirts, some high stockings and even some low cuts here and there. A handful of eye candies(well, not becos of the lack of clothing). :D
Seeing everyone in there enjoying themselves, taking pictures and eating really stirs up several emotions. On one hand, I want to be there next year. Like them. Enjoying myself, loving every moment i have left with my friends. On the other hand, if somehow i become a lone ranger, for example, somehow, my class decides to sit with their ccas, then my cca decides to sit with their class, then, where will i be? Actually, i can already forsee myself sitting on a noisy table, drinking my coke and staring at my plate. Maybe i'm over pessimistic, but, damn, i must really try to get a date for sdd next year, at least for the night. Then at least i wont need to sit alone drinking my coke... Someone else will be sitting beside me drinking coke. lol. ok nvm. thats lame.
After SDD, all the councillors were totally shacked, well, at least the guys. The first thing we did after reaching the hotel room was kinda to inspect the bed. I went to inspect the fridge. Damn expensive stuff which i cant afford, apart from the Heineken Alvin bought. This is the first time I witness what fatigue can do to people. Haha, people can sleep in all kinds of positions on the bed, talk absolute nonsense and even sleep in the bathtub. Real interesting guy.
After such a long, gruelling event, i should at least summarise my opinions on it right. One word for SDD: kewl.
