To love is to serve

I was reading my fren's blogs when this thought came to me: The Answer."hey bro, if u think we din notice something was wrong with u, think again man. we did... but we din know how to help u. Actually, if u need someone to talk to, i'm sure we can make time for ya..
Anyway, i've been pretty demoralised these few days by many things myself, feeling quite ok now, but through it all, i did learn a couple of things: firstly, that i am not as bad as i always imagine myself to be. And secondly, that God made me a unique individual and He alone chooses to bless or take away from me. But more importantly, through the things i experienced these few days, i realized that stress, as unglamourous as it may be, cannot be experienced by one person only, it has to be shared and told to others.
(Sorry if i sound pretty preachy, but that is honestly what i've taken away from my experience)" <--- extracts from wad i posted in joel's blog, straight from my heart, seriously what i felt, which reminds me, i was chatting with my sis again yesterday. Everytime i'm stressed, i somehow make my way to my sis. And chatting with her really helps me focus, not on the problem, but on source of the problem itself. As i was reading through the blogs of several people, i realized that problems that others face are no different from mine, but why is it that they handle it so differently from me? I was reading when this thought came to me, which is, if they are living by themselves and for themselves, naturally, they will not be strong in the face of such problems, which most prob is stress for now. Therefore, that thought made me conclude that the source of their problem is that they are trying to solve everything themselves. To them, promos may be a problem, but from the way i see it, it is definitely not the source of their problems. If they are able to solve the source, then even when small adversities appear along our path, we will be able to overcome it. Instead of concentrating on the problem, they need to refer back to the source of it. For me, I know that I may be stressed from promos, school, church, all these cumulative factors that are adding up and each ripping a part of my life, but, i know that behind me, supporting me, is this God who will not give up on me, and even when i have given up on myself, I know that i can depend on Him.
The real way to solve these problems in life, is not to depend on yourself, but on something/someone else, and who better than God can we depend on? Therefore, what we want beneath the face of our problems is not another solution, what we really want is The Answer, an answer to themselves......
